"This solution improves our customer service and further automates prepress production" says GTC Print Managing Director Marcus Rehnström. "Our customers can now work whenever it is suitable for their schedule: the 24x7 automated online customer service receives orders and validates attached files, like pages and mailing lists".
The solution includes e-business features like extranet for receiving and processing orders integrated with receiving files, validating and remote soft proofing. Features also include receiving and validating mail data (addresses) for subscription based titles. All modern prepress features like ink optimizing, RGB workflow and ink key presetting calculations are standard as well. Production tracking and management, including reporting tools such as monthly waste reports, are also integrated into the overall solution.
The solution will be provided as Software as a Service (SaaS), where the software and services are available over the Internet with no on-site installation required. Agreement includes 24x7 support.
GTC Print Ab is located In Lulea, Sweden. The company was established in 1878 and is one of the leading print service providers in northern Sweden. It provides magazines, books, brochures and other printed matter with one HeatSet web press and several sheet fed presses.
